Ozil out of Arsenal squad for Newcastle clash

Mesut Ozil is not in the squad for Arsenal's clash at Newcastle with the club confirming he has a "slight shoulder problem".

Jack Wilshere returns to Arsene Wenger's starting line-up after serving his one-match ban. Lukas Podolski, who came off the bench to score on his first game back at West Ham after four months out with a hamstring injury, is on the bench.

Mathieu Flamini and Tomas Rosicky come into midfield, with Aaron Ramsey suffering a thigh injury at West Ham that is set to keep him out for several weeks.

Nacho Monreal and Thomas Vermaelen miss out through illness.

For Newcastle, Hatem Ben Arfa drops to the bench with Cheick Tiote starting in midfield.
