Hart returns to City line-up; De Bruyne in for Chelsea

Joe Hart has been recalled to the starting line-up as Manchester City take on Leicester in the League Cup quarter-finals.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini has made eight changes in total from the side that put six past Arsenal on Saturday. Joleon Lescott comes in to the centre of defence, while Javi Garcia, James Milner and Jack Rodwell start in midfield. Edin Dzeko replaces the injured Sergio Aguero, and is supported by David Silva and Jesus Navas.

Leicester City starting XI: Schmeichel, Wasilewski, Morgan, Miquel, Konchesky, Knockaert, King, Drinkwater, Dyer; Taylor-Fletcher, Nugent Substitutes: De Laet, Hammond, Vardy, Schlupp, James, Moore, Logan

Manchester City starting XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Kolarov, Garcia, Rodwell, Milner, Silva, Navas, Dzeko Substitutes: Pantilimon, Boyata, Demichelis, Fernandinho, Nasri, Negredo

Meanwhile, in the other quarter final, Jose Mourinho has rung the changes for Chelsea as they travel to Sunderland.

Mark Schwarzer replaces Petr Cech in goal, while Ashley Cole, Jon Obi Mikel, Frank Lampard and Kevin De Bruyne get rare starts. Belgian De Bruyne hasn't played for the Blues since mid-October.

Mourinho's front three of choice for Sunderland are Willian, Andre Schurrle and Samuel Eto'o.
