Luis Suarez will be whisked home from Uruguay's World Cup play-off with Jordan in Liverpool owner John Henry's private jet to ensure he is ready for the Merseyside derby.

Uruguay's match kicks off at 11pm GMT on Tuesday. Suarez was due to return to England on Friday, just 24 hours before the Reds take on Everton at Goodison Park.

But according to the Daily Mirror, Henry has decided to fly from his home in Boston to Montevideo to bring Suarez back a day earlier.

Suarez has been in red hot form since returning from a ten-match ban for biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic and is joint top scorer in the Premier League alongside Liverpool team-mate Daniel Sturridge and Manchester City's Sergio Aguero.

But his resolve will be tested against Everton, who boast the third best defensive record in the league this season.

When the game kicks off on Saturday, Suarez will have flown more than 17,000 miles in 10 days to play in the World Cup play-offs, which Uruguay lead 5-0 from the first leg.
