Despite being frozen out of the Tottenham starting line-up, Emmanuel Adebayor still feels a part of the club.
Following Spurs' 2-0 win at Aston Villa on Sunday, the Togo international tweeted his delight at the result:
Great result today. Moving up the table. Now we need to work hard for Thursday. Hope you had a great weekend guys. COYS— Emmanuel Adebayor (@E_Adebayor) October 20, 2013
Adebayor has yet to feature for Tottenham this season, and was ordered by manager Andre Villas-Boas to train with the club's development squad after returning from compassionate leave.
Adebayor is behind Roberto Soldado and Jermain Defoe in the striking pecking order, and is likely to depart during the January transfer window given he is the club's highest earner at close to £100,000-a-week.
