England line up Chile and Germany gamesESPN staff October 17, 2013 « Haroon Khan to make November return | Mourinho 'not missed' by the Premier League »
England have announced friendlies against Chile and Germany to take place in November after qualifying for the World Cup.
Had England not beaten Poland on Tuesday night to seal their place at the 2014 World Cup then the dates would have been used for the play-offs in which England could have faced France, Portugal or Sweden.
However, Roy Hodgson's side will now face Chile on November 15 and Germany four days later in a Wembley double-header to mark the end of the FA's 150th anniversary celebrations which has also seen the Three Lions face Ireland, Scotland and Brazil.
England have not played Germany since losing 4-1 to them in the second round of the 2010 World Cup.
Meanwhile, further friendlies against Denmark and the United States are expected to be confirmed for March 2014.
