Gloucester City player Scott Wilson is set to feature in an unusual FA Cup third round qualifier against Yate Town on Saturday, where he is likely to step up against his current flatmate Tom Seery.
Wilson enjoyed a successful loan spell at Yate last season, where he was given the option of staying permanently. However, the 20-year-old opted to return to his parent club in a bid to revive his career in Gloucester.
Now Wilson will travel with Gloucester to Lodge Round on Saturday, where he is likely to face his close friend and current Yate player Seery.
"I was saying before the draw how I wanted to get Yate. When we got them I was made up. I'm looking forward to going back and seeing some old faces," Wilson told the FA's official website.
"Of course I know a lot of the lads there from my time there - but I know Tom very well. We've just been having a laugh about it. It's going to be interesting going up against him and hopefully I come out on top."
