Ince hit with five-match stadium ban
Blackpool boss Paul Ince has been handed a five-match stadium ban by the FA and fined £4,000 after abusing and threatening a match official at Bournemouth.
Ince was found guilty of breaching FA rules after hitting a female steward on the leg with a water bottle he threw. Ince apologised to her but argued with the referee after he was sent to the stands.
Charges against Ince's assistant Alex Rae were dropped.
An FA statement read: "Ince appeared before a Regulatory Commission on Monday after he was charged with three breaches of FA Rule E3, which occurred in or around the tunnel following his side's game at AFC Bournemouth on Saturday, 14 September 2013.
"The charges were that Ince; used abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official; his behaviour towards a match official constituted violent conduct; and that he used threatening words and/or behaviour towards a match official."
