Ex-Scotland goalkeeper slams Hart errorsESPN staff October 3, 2013 « Giggs enjoys 'special' Champions League record | Cleverly seeks rematch with Kovalev »
Former Scotland goalkeeper Andy Goram has questioned the technique of Manchester City shot-stopper Joe Hart following a string of errors against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.
Hart was at fault for two of Bayern's three goals as the reigning European champions overpowered City 3-1 at The Etihad.
Twice Hart was beaten at his near post, first from Franck Ribery and then from Arjen Robben, which has led to major criticism from Goram.
On Twitter the 49-year-old posted:
Joe Hart has a major flaw in his game...he's chucking in a Boo Boo one a month...his coach must see this ffs..unbelievable!— Andy Goram (@thegoalieAG) October 3, 2013
Goram, who played 43 times for his country in the space of 13 years, also added:
His problems are technical...be fixed in a day. If he doesn't address it then he's in trouble. Club and Country he has nobody to push him.— Andy Goram (@thegoalieAG) October 3, 2013
And Goram has backed Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster to replace Hart as England's No. 1, as well as believing that current Scotland 'keeper Allan McGregor would even have an opportunity to displace the under-pressure Hart at City.
Fraser Foster will push him with England McGregor would take his place at City if given half a chance. Hart's coach must see the problem!— Andy Goram (@thegoalieAG) October 3, 2013
