Suarez starts for Liverpool at Sunderland

Luis Suarez will make his first Premier League outing for Liverpool in five months after being named in the starting line-up to face Sunderland.

Suarez, who insists he is a changed man, returned to action in the 1-0 Capital One Cup defeat to Manchester United in midweek after seeing out his 10-game ban for biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic in April.

Caretaker Kevin Ball continues in charge of Sunderland after the departure of Paolo Di Canio.
