Fernando Torres makes his first Premier League start for Chelsea since the opening day of the season in today's lunchtime kick-off against Tottenham.
Torres scored one and set up the other in Chelsea's 2-0 win against Swindon on Tuesday. Juan Mata drops to the bench having started in the Capital One Cup outing.
There is no room in the squad at all for £32 million summer signing Willian, who snubbed a move to White Hart Lane in favour of joining the Blues despite having a medical with Spurs.
Lewis Holtby has failed to keep his place in the Spurs starting XI following his superb display in midweek at Aston Villa, with Andre Villas-Boas dropping him to the bench.
