Suarez included in Liverpool squad
Suarez has voiced a desire to move to Real Madrid, and has also been the subject of a bid from Arsenal.
Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre told Bloomberg the club had targets in mind should Suarez leave - but said Arsenal's bid had been rejected and he remained hopeful the Uruguayan would stay at Anfield.
Suarez will miss the start of Liverpool's trip to Indonesia, Australia and Thailand - but only because he, along with team-mates Sebastian Coates and Pepe Reina, has been granted extra time off after playing in the Confederations Cup.
Manager Brendan Rodgers' four summer signings - Simon Mignolet, Kolo Toure, Luis Alberto and Iago Aspas - are all in the squad after making their debuts in Saturday's 4-0 friendly win over Preston.
Liverpool face an Indonesia XI in Jakarta on July 20 and then take on Melbourne Victory on July 24 and the Thailand national team on July 28.
Captain Steven Gerrard told the club's official website: "Luckily this year we're going to Asia and Australia, and that's great. I'm really looking forward to the three places we're going to be visiting, and it'll be great to spend some time with our supporters over there.
"They don't get to see us in the flesh very often. I think all the players realise that we have to give something back when we're over there and spend as much time as we can with them, try to get some wins and perform well for them. All the lads are excited and can't wait to get over there."
