Christian Benteke is 99 per cent certain to start next season at Aston Villa, according to his agent.

Eris Kismet insists the striker is happy at the Midlands club, despite Paul Lambert's side having battled all season to stay in the top flight.

Benteke has netted 13 times for Villa after signing from Racing Genk in what has been a difficult season, prompting interest from a host of European teams.

But the 22-year-old is loving life at Villa according to Kismet, and has no plans to leave. The Daily Mirror quoted Kismet as saying: "I keep hearing that Christian dreams of playing for different clubs.

"But why dream when he is living a fantastic reality at Aston Villa? He is certainly not thinking about leaving.

"It is always impossible to predict the future in football but at the moment I am 99% certain Christian will start next season with Aston Villa in the Premier League.

"Paul Lambert, the club and the fans have all been very good to Christian and that means a lot to him."
