Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp is mulling over the possibility of making a loan move for Robbie Keane in January.

Keane has just finished the season with LA Galaxy in the MLS, but has indicated he would like to remain sharp by taking a loan move in the Premier League.

The Republic of Ireland international is unlikely to be short of offers and one of them may come from Redknapp who bought and sold Keane during his time at Tottenham.

"Robbie had a good season, scored goals and did well," said Redknapp who has also been linked with a move for Nicolas Anelka. "He's a good pro and he would be the ideal type to have around for sure because he would give us something.

"I haven't spoken to him yet, but he would be an interesting player."
