Chelsea eye January Remy raid
Chelsea are reportedly planning a January raid for Marseille striker Loic Remy after the London club sent a scout to France to keep tabs on the player on Sunday.
A representative for the Blues was in attendance as Remy, 25, was in action for his team in their 2-2 draw with Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Le 10Sport, the two clubs have already discussed a possible switch to take place in the January transfer window.
He would be expected to cost Chelsea at least €15 million - but due to Marseille's participation in the Europa League, he would be eligible for Chelsea should they reach the latter rounds of the Champions League.
It is suggested the European champions would like to bring in the France international as a replacement for Daniel Sturridge, who they will hope to offload in the same window.
Chelsea currently only have two senior strikers on their books in Sturridge, 23, and Fernando Torres.
But England international Sturridge has struggled this season, with injury limiting him to just four substitute appearances for Chelsea.
