Florent Malouda has dropped a broad hint that he will see out his contract at Chelsea.

The France international has one year remaining on his present deal and has been strongly linked with a move to Brazilian club Santos.

A transfer to Brazil is an attractive prospect for Malouda, whose wife is Brazilian, but he has his sights trained on the Club World Cup in December.

"I have always stated that I would like to go to Brazil," Malouda told L'Equipe.

"However, I still have one year remaining on my contract at Chelsea. Moreover, there is the FIFA Club World Cup in December."

Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo has confirmed he will hold talks with Malouda to gauge his thoughts before deciding on whether to make the 31-year-old available for transfer.
