Edin Dzeko has moved to clarify his own future, with the Manchester City striker insisting he has not held talks with AC Milan.

The forward has found himself behind Sergio Aguero, Mario Balotelli and, since his return to the fold, Carlos Tevez in the City pecking order.

Manager Roberto Mancini has insisted Dzeko is firmly in his plans, but the forward has been linked with a move to Milan.

City rubbished talk that an agent had been given permission to broker a deal and Dzeko has insisted he is not pushing for a move away from Eastlands.

"After new speculation about my departure from City and the statements of individuals, who are talking like they are my manager, I would like to inform the public that I have not had any negotiations with Milan," Dzeko said on his personal website.

"My manager is Irfan Redzepagic and neither of us are pushing for my departure from City.

"I'm only focused on Manchester City and I do not care about media speculation, especially when it comes from people who have nothing to do with me."
