Shinji Kagawa looks set for a move to Manchester United this summer, but will not make a decision until the end of the season.

The Japan international is likely to leave the Bundesliga champions, having refused the offer of a new contract.

Dortmund president Michael Zorc confirmed on Thursday that Kagawa would not be staying at Westfalenstadion. He said: "Shinji is going to play in England because he has officially rejected our offer of a new contract."

United have long been linked with the 23-year-old, who has made no secret of his desire to play in the Premier League. However, with Borussia Dortmund on course for a league and cup Double, Kagawa wants to wait before he decides his future.

"I have not yet decided what I will do," Kagawa told Bild. "The earliest I will discuss my future after a lot of thought with my agent will be after the German Cup final."

Kagawa's 13 league goals this season have helped Dortmund secure back-to-back Bundesliga titles and they face Bayern Munich in the German Cup final next weekend.
