Napoli playmaker Marek Hamsik has quashed reports in Italy he is to leave the San Paolo stadium this summer.

Hamsik, 24, is a reported target of Premier League sides Chelsea and Manchester City while Paris St Germain have also expressed interest in the Slovakia international.

''I love this jersey,'' Hamsik said to Sky Italia. ''I've always said it, I have a further five years left in my contract and I'm very happy here. I have married this project and I want to continue to play here.''

The midfielder signed a one-year contract extension with the Serie A outfit, which will keep him at Napoli until June 2016.

Hamsik, who last summer was linked with a move to AC Milan, joined Napoli from Brescia in 2007 and has since established himself as a key player for the side. He has scored seven goals in 31 league appearances this season.
