Substitute Juanmi struck twice to dent Atletico Madrid's hopes of a top-two La Liga finish as they went down 3-0 at Real Sociedad.
Atletico remain 12 points adrift of leaders Barcelona and three clear of third-placed rivals Real Madrid, with both sides having five games to play.
The home side took the lead midway through the first half when Willian Jose fired past goalkeeper Jan Oblak from Adnan Januzaj's 27th-minute pass.
Sime Vrsaljko came close to an equaliser with 23 minutes remaining, but Juanmi's strike 10 minutes from time after a perfect backheel from Jose and his stoppage-time header saw La Real home.
It was a third straight win for Sociedad, who stayed 11th in the table.
Barcelona are now one win from the title after drawing 2-2 at Celta Vigo on Tuesday without most of its regular starters. Barca can secure their 25th crown at Deportivo La Coruna on April 29.
