Boreham Wood secured the win they needed to be sure of their Vanarama National League play-off place, 3-1 at home to already-relegated Guiseley.
Bruno Andrade grabbed his 20th goal of the season in just the third minute when the visitors failed to deal with a corner and the striker smashed home the loose ball.
Morgan Ferrier made it two on 16 minutes with a close-range finish from Andrade's cross.
The Lions pulled one back in bizarre style after 21 minutes when a cross from John Rooney struck both posts and Dayle Southwell was on hand to convert the rebound.
But Kane Smith curled in a third in the 69th minute to make sure of Boreham's win and book a play-off meeting with Fylde.
