Premier League weekend team news: Injuries and suspensions update

Bournemouth midfielder Dan Gosling is rated as only 50/50 because of a knee injury. Ryan Fraser comes back into contention for a starting place after his substitute appearance at Liverpool, but Andrew Surman is out with a knee problem. Winger Junior Stanislas has been carrying a groin injury, while defender Tyrone Mings serves out his five-match suspension for a stamp on Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Forward Callum Wilson, goalkeeper Adam Federici and defender Rhoys Wiggins all continue their recoveries from knee injuries.

Provisional Squad: Boruc, A Smith, Francis, Daniels, Cook, Wilshere, Pugh, Arter, Ibe, Afobe, King, Allsop, Gradel, Fraser, Cook, Mousset, Cargill, B Smith, Allsop, Stanislas, Gosling.

Victor Moses is back in contention when Premier League leaders Chelsea play at Bournemouth. The right wing-back missed Saturday's loss to Crystal Palace and Wednesday's win over Manchester City with a toe injury. Chelsea have no other injury concerns.

John O'Shea will miss the game following the death of his father after missing the midweek defeat at Leicester to attend the funeral. Adnan Januzaj is ineligible under the terms of his loan agreement while Steven Pienaar is close to a return from a calf problem, although fellow midfielder Jan Kirchhoff (knee) is unlikely to play again this season along with defender Paddy McNair and striker Duncan Watmore (both also knee).

Manchester United will be without Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young at Sunderland. Captain Rooney missed the midweek clash against Everton with ankle issues, while Young limped forced off with an apparent groin injury against Everton. Antonio Valencia returns after being rested for the midweek clash, while Juan Mata (groin), Phil Jones (toe) and Chris Smalling (knee) are long-term absentees.

Ashley Williams is suspended for Everton against Leicester at Goodison Park. The Wales international must serve a one-match ban having been dismissed late on against Manchester United in midweek for deliberate handball, joining fellow defenders Ramiro Funes Mori (knee) and Seamus Coleman (broken leg) on the sidelines. Provisional squad: Robles, Stekelenburg, Jagielka, Pennington, Holgate, Baines, Kenny, Davies, Gueye, Barry, Barkley, Calvert-Lewin, Mirallas, Lookman, Lukaku, Valencia, Kone.

Leicester will still be without captain Wes Morgan against Everton. Morgan has missed the last three matches with a back injury and he will remain on the sidelines at Goodison Park, as well as missing the first leg of the Foxes' Champions League quarter-final clash in Madrid next week. Midfielder Nampalys Mendy is also still out with his knee problem and he is set to see a specialist.

Crystal Palace will be without midfielder Yohan Cabaye as their injury-hit squad prepare to host Arsenal at Selhurst Park. Cabaye was substituted at half-time during Wednesday's 3-1 defeat at Southampton after picking up a calf strain and boss Sam Allardyce has confirmed the France international is unavailable. Scott Dann, Pape Souare, James Tomkins, Fraser Campbell and Connor Wickham are also out, with Patrick van Aanholt likely to be absent as well. James McArthur (back) could return, though, while Joe Ledley is available after missing the Saints loss due to his wife giving birth.

The 24-year-old stepped in for the win over West Ham with both Petr Cech (calf) and David Ospina (back) sidelined, and neither will be fit for the game at Selhurst Park. Laurent Koscielny (Achilles) remains absent as does Lucas Perez (thigh), while Francis Coquelin returns after missing the midweek win due to personal matters.

Provisional squad: Martinez, Macey, Bellerin, Holding, Gabriel, Mertesacker, Mustafi, Monreal, Gibbs, Maitland-Niles, Coquelin, Xhaka, Ramsey, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ozil, Walcott, Reine-Adelaide, Iwobi, Sanchez, Giroud, Welbeck.
