It's another big weekend in the Premier League, including Liverpool's crunch clash with leaders Manchester City. Before that, we feel Crystal Palace look a solid punt to see off Burnley at home.
The Home Banker
The wheels seem to have come off for Burnley in recent weeks, with the Clarets failing to record a win since Dec. 12. This Saturday they go to Palace, who have been much improved under Roy Hodgson. The Eagles are still involved in a relegation scrap but can claim three precious points in the battle for survival by winning at Selhurst Park.
The Tasty Treble
West Ham travel to Huddersfield on Saturday and on form the draw looks a huge runner at 2/1. The Hammers have drawn three of their last four while the Terriers have finished all square in three of their last five matches and both managers will have one eye on the Premier League table and see this as a "must not lose" fixture. Elsewhere, Tottenham (1/4) can add to Everton's woes by claiming victory at Wembley while Chelsea (2/7) should be too good for Leicester at Stamford Bridge. The Foxes have been competitive against the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United in recent weeks but look up against it in west London against Antonio Conte's well-organised Blues side. The treble is paying not far short of 4/1 with bet365 and looks to have every chance.
The Euro Wager
On Friday evening Bayern Munich, 11 points clear in the Bundesliga, travel to Bayer Leverkusen in a game that should feature goals. Amazingly, Leverkusen have scored in every match they've played so far this season and when the teams met on match day one it finished 3-1 to the Bavarian giants in a game played in monsoon-like conditions. Friday's game looks like being another open encounter and the shout here is backing Jupp Heynckes' side to win and both teams to score.
The Wildcard Tip
The money continues to come in for Manchester City going the whole season unbeaten, but they face another huge test on Sunday when they travel to Liverpool. Pep Guardiola's men are sitting 15 points clear at the top of the league and several bookmakers have already paid out on them winning the league, such has been their dominance. When the teams met back in September Guardiola's men dished out a 5-0 hammering but it has to be said that Liverpool were asking them plenty of questions before Sadio Mane's controversial red card. It should be high-octane stuff at Anfield between the Premier League's two highest scoring teams and at the prices, Liverpool could be worth a flutter.
The Bookie Basher
Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne have been the two best players in the Premier League so far this season and it could pay to back the former to score first when the Reds face Manchester City. Salah, the newly crowned African Footballer of the Year, has scored 23 goals for Liverpool and is a 9/2 chance to score first at Anfield. Doubling Salah with Alvaro Morata to score first for Chelsea against Leicester in Saturday's early kick-off pays nearly 20/1 and looks tasty.
