Coach accused of bullying

The coach of Aledo High School's football team has been accused of bullying following a formal complaint from the side they defeated 91-0.

Western Hills High School were trailing 56-0 at the break, and the dad of a player of the side claims Tim Buchanan, the coach of Aledo, told his players to bully them by piling further misery and collecting more points. Buchanan received a complaint through his email, with the subject line reading as: "Bullying Report".

"[The report filed] compliments our players, saying they showed extremely good sportsmanship," Buchanan said. "This was not directed at our team, but the coaching staff for not instructing our players to ease up and quit playing hard once the game was in hand."

Western Hills coach John Naylor said the opposition were "number one for a reason" and had no complaints about the loss.
