This week has marked the transfer of little France from London to Newcastle, we get a glimpse into the ribbing which a pasty Andy Murray may have copped as a junior tennis player and John Legend is just the business for teenage girls. It's the week in words...

"He has more of a tan now than when he was a junior."
Goodness knows what shade of pale Andy Murray was when he and Novak Djokovic were younger.

"We are not after any French player, you can forget that ... they go to Newcastle."
Arsene Wenger laments that the patisserie capital of England has switched to the north-east.

"You could smell it in the dressing room before, could smell the chance."
Bradford goalkeeper Matt Duke may have confused the smell of 'chance' with that of 11 sweaty blokes warming up for a game.

"I think a lot of players would have kicked him a lot harder."
Unfortunately Harry Redknapp was not talking about Luis Suarez.

"It's sport, it's not Big Brother"
If you ever get confused between these two it means you are watching UFC.

"John Legend tweeted me. I mean, I'm just excited. I want John Legend to sing at my wedding."
Sloane Stephens shows that quasi-orgasmic hysteria about musicians didn't end with the Beatles.

"I nearly had to stop myself jumping across the table to kiss him, which would have made it really awkward in a room with just two guys!"
The modern rugby player, as modelled by Jamie Heaslip, really is a different beast these days.
