Exeter Chiefs will begin their defence of the LV=Cup at Rodney Parade where they will face the Dragons.
The Chiefs saw off the Saints to lift the trophy last season, their first major piece of silverware in the club's history. The opening round of the competition also sees the Saints starting their Anglo-Welsh Cup campaign against Newcastle while the Cardiff Blues face Welsh rivals the Scarlets. Elsewhere Bath host London Welsh and Harlequins travel to Saracens.
But one potential issue is a fixture clash for the Welsh regions. The Scarlets, Blues, Ospreys and Dragons are all meant to be playing PRO12 fixtures on the opening weekend of the LV=Cup which covers October 31-November 2.
Such a fixture clash is a rarity in rugby and the RFU issued a statement concerning the clash, which was printed on Wales Online, saying: "The WRU is currently in negotiations with the regions regarding the Participation Agreement for the upcoming season.
"Once those negotiations have concluded, they will address the potential clash for Welsh clubs in Round 1 of the LV= Cup, the dates of which were agreed by all LV= Cup stakeholders back in April 2014."
