Nairo Quintana moved to the brink of victory in the Giro d'Italia as he held onto his lead over Rigoberto Uran in the penultimate stage from Maniago to Monte Zoncolan.

Quintana leads his fellow Colombian by three minutes and seven seconds going into Sunday's final stage.

Australia's Michael Rogers took stage 20, his second stage of this year's Giro, seeing off Italy's Franco Pellizotti.

"It's 99% done," said Quintana. "I've achieved one of the big goals in my life."

Tinkoff-Saxo rider Rogers, who was cleared of a drug violation in April, said he was "proud" after his victory.

"It's been a dream of mine to win a mountain-top finish like that." he said.
