58 - Sixth-lowest score for England in Tests - their lowest was 45 way back in 1887 against Australia. Incidentally, England went on to win that game by 13 runs. This is England's lowest Test score against New Zealand, though. Their previous lowest against them was 64 in Wellington in 1978.
5 - Players dismissed for a duck in the England innings - their joint-highest in Tests. There have been only three other occasions in which five England batsmen were dismissed for no score. The last time this happened was in 1976 against West Indies.
15 - Occasions in Tests in which a team required just two bowlers to dismiss the opposition. Boult and Southee bowled unchanged for 20.4 overs to bowl out England. The previous such instance was in 1994, when Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis dismissed Sri Lanka for 71. Since 1920 there have been only four occasions where the opening bowlers have dismissed the opposition batting line up. This is also the first such instance for New Zealand.

The previous such instance was in 2013, when Australia's Ashton Agar and Phil Hughes added 163 against England in Nottingham.
6/32 - Career-best figures for Trent Boult in Tests. His previous best was 6 for 40 runs against West Indies in Wellington in 2013. This was also the fourth-best figures for a New Zealand bowler against England in Tests. Incidentally, Boult had taken 6 for 68 at this same venue when the teams met in 2013.
4 - Ducks for Joe Root from 120 innings in Tests. Three out of his four ducks have come against New Zealand. The other duck came against Sri Lanka. Root averages 36.71 against New Zealand. He only averages lower against Bangladesh.
