Remember Bryce Love? Tonight may be he closest we get to see the Stanford tailback's 2017 form. Love practiced at full speed Wednesday, and sat out the last two days to get the soreness out. The Cardinal needs him for more than the obvious reason. Backup Trevor Speights is hurt and didn't make the trip to Washington.

Cal uses defense to stun No. 15 Washington, 12-10

Linebacker Evan Weaver scored on a 36-yard interception return in the third quarter after Washington made a change at quarterback, and California overcome a sluggish day offensively to beat the No. 15 Huskies 12-10 on Saturday.

Cal came away with a big win over No. 15 ranked Washington in a 12-10 game. The Bears held the Huskies' offense to just 250 total yards on offense and even saw Washington starting quarterback Jake Browning replaced by backup Jake Haener in the third quarter to try to jump start the offense. The Bears are now 5-3 on the season while Washington falls to 6-3 with two conference losses.
