Anthony Joshua will not be fighting on the Carl Froch-George Groves undercard on Saturday after being advised to rest an injury.

The Olympic champion has enjoyed a winning start in his professional career so far, collecting three wins from three outings, with his latest victory over Hrvoje Kisicek arriving just last week.

The 24-year-old was due to fight in Manchester on Saturday. However, after complaining of a slight problem with his shoulder, the Briton has been told not to take to the ring for his fourth fight in order to rest what has been diagnosed as an injury to his bicep.

And Joshua allayed fears he could be ruled out for his bout against Dorian Darch on December 14.
