Haroon Khan will go toe-to-toe with Stefan Slavchev on November 15 in Blackpool, it has been confirmed.

Unbeaten Khan, a Commonwealth Games bronze medalist in 2010 (2-0 1KO), began his professional career in fine style with win over Brett Fidoe before knockout out Vincente Medellin in Atlantic City.

The younger brother of former unified world champion Amir Khan now faces the 20-year-old Bulgarian Slavchev (3-8, 1 KO) on a stacked card at Winter Gardens which features 14 bouts.

"I'm very pleased that my opponent has now be confirmed," said Khan. "Now I can start working on some specific things with my trainer Oliver Harrison in order to prepare for him.

"I know Stefan will be coming to get the win so I'll need to be at my sharpest and make sure I'm ready. Training has gone great and I can see the improvements I'm making all the time in the gym. "I can't wait for November 15 because I'm ready to put on a great performance."
