Floyd Mayweather Jr has confirmed he will have his father, Floyd Sr, in his corner for his next fight on May 4.

There is still no confirmation as to who Mayweather will fight, it is likely to be Robert Guerrero, but he will have the help of his father in the build-up to the clash.

It has been speculated upon for some time that the two would start working together, with the reports in part due to the health issues of his regular trainer - his uncle Roger Mayweather.

And on Wednesday evening, Mayweather Jr took to Twitter to confirm the news. He wrote: "Me & my trainer (my dad) back working together getting ready for May 4th."

It is not immediately clear whether Mayweather Sr will take on the role of lead trainer or some other role in the camp.
