Nathan Cleverly will attempt to elevate his profile in America when he battles Ryan Coyne in Los Angeles on November 10.

Cleverly was expected to put his WBO light-heavyweight title on the line against Vyacheslav Uzelkov on October 27 in Cardiff, but that fight has been scrapped.

Instead, Cleverly now faces unbeaten American Coyne (21-0), last seen stopping Peter Vecsei in the first round of their September bout in Sheffield.

Coyne is not ranked in the top 15 by the WBO, so it remains to be seen whether Cleverly will be permitted to defend his title by the organisation.

However, Coyne is rated No. 2 by the WBA and No. 10 by the WBC.
