Munich police expect two-week Haye hunt

Munich police may take up to two weeks to finally get hold of David Haye, who fled to Las Vegas for some "party time" on Tuesday.
Haye has been unreachable since his highly-publicised brawl with Dereck Chisora in Germany over the weekend. The former British boxer appeared to land a punch on Chisora at the post-fight press conference, while other images show him throwing a piece of camera equipment at his rival.
Chisora's response was to threaten, promise even, to "shoot" Haye when he finds him. The Hayemaker has since explained that he fled the country back to England to prevent further confrontation with Chisora.
However, after releasing a statement on Monday Haye was seen at Heathrow airport 24 hours later boarding a flight for Vegas. And Munich police admit they will need help tracking down the Brit, who faces the slim threat of prison if convicted of assault.
"We're going to ask the British to help us but this is not a quick process," a Munich police spokesman said. "We have to go through the right channels, send letters, etc.
"We don't expect something to happen for around two weeks. It is not a serious charge, like murder; it is just a case involving two famous people."
Meanwhile, Freddie Roach - trainer of Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan - believes a fight will happen between Chisora and Haye, despite the latter's manager Adam Booth claiming to the contrary.
"They're building up a fight with each other it seems," Roach said to Sky Sports News. "I was asked who David Haye should fight and I said Chisora, it would be a good fight. They've created that interest now."
