What are the Six Nations overall standings since the tournament started? Nick Clark, England

The 2014 season was the fifteenth since the tournament was increased from five to six with the admission of Italy in 2000.

England's win against Italy and France's defeat by Ireland on the final weekend of this season's Championship saw the English overtake the French on the all-time table which now looks like this:

table class="engineTable"> The Overall Six Nations Standings Country Played Won Drawn Lost Points England 75 51 1 23 103 France 75 50 2 23 102 Ireland 75 49 2 24 100 Wales 75 40 2 33 82 Scotland 75 19 2 54 40 Italy 75 11 1 63 23

The Championship retains its traditional two points for a win, one for a draw and none for a defeat.
