Peyton Manning leads his Denver Broncos into Super Bowl XVIII on Sunday night as even money favourite to be voted the game's Most Valuable Player.
Do not be put off by what seems prohibitive odds - evens is still value when you consider the following: Manning has just completed the greatest regular season of any quarterback, set new records for touchdowns and passing yards, and a quarterback has won the Super Bowl MVP award the last four years, seven times in the past decade.
There is also a historical quirk: two years ago, Peyton's brother Eli won his second Super Bowl MVP award when the New York Giants won in Indianapolis, which was at the time Peyton's home stadium. Now Peyton goes into Met Life Stadium in New Jersey looking to win his second Super Bowl MVP award - at the home stadium of Eli's Giants.
