The about-turn in fortunes at Old Trafford has led to a marked change in odds for the fourth Test at Durham even though the Ashes are done and dusted. Whereas a nine days ago you could almost name your own odds for an Australia victory they are now 11/4 with England evens.
Despite looking out of sorts of late Jonathan Trott is 7/2 to be England's leading batsman in the first innings which is unappealing with Alastair Cook next best at 4.1 which is just as unattractive. Ian Bell still looks to be England's Mr Reliable and at 5/1 that's the best option.
Chris Rogers is 9/2 to be Australia's best batsman and as he rediscovered his form in Manchester that's one to keep an eye out for. David Warner is the same price and if his batting can match his brashness then that's another one to consider.
