Bill Pulver and Brett Gosper take on ice bucket challenge
ESPN Staff
August 25, 2014

Australian Rugby Union chief Executive Officer Bill Pulver accepted Wallabies half-back Nic White's nomination to take part in the ALS ice bucket challenge, raising money for motor neuron disease research.

Dressed in Wallabies gear, Pulver was dumped in icy water before nominating ex-Wallabies wing Nick Cummins, Fox Sports rugby presenter Nick McCardle and IRB chief executive Brett Gosper. Pulver has joined many identities taking part in the challenge, including MND sufferer and Springboks legend Joost van der Westhuizen.

Gosper was quick to respond to his nomination before nominating Wallabies legend John Eales, former France captain Jean Pierre-Rives and England hero Lawrence Dallaglio to take on the challenge.

ALS Association has reportedly received over US$70.2 million since starting the challenge.

McArdle has called for nomination suggestions.
