Zara Tindall has risked annoying her grandmother by selling exclusive pictures of her daughter Mia to Hello! for a reported six-figure sum.
Buckingham Palace declined to comment on whether the Queen had been consulted about the move.
Former England captain Mike Tindall and his wife had previously stated they had no intention of making money out of the birth but the magazine devotes 13 pages, as well as its front cover, to the exclusive.
In 2002 the then Zara Phillips was paid a reported £125,000 by Hello! for a photoshoot with her then boyfriend, jockey Richard Johnson.
A spokesman for the Tindalls said they had agreed a deal with Hello! "for the future of their family".
