Leinster have been bolstered by the return Brian O'Driscoll and Jamie Heaslip ahead of their RaboDirect PRO12 clash with Cardiff Blues at the RDS on Friday night.
O'Driscoll has not played since the British & Irish Lions' second Test defeat to Australia in the summer while Heaslip has been rested for the start of the season under the Irish Player Management Programme. They will be joined in the line-up by Cian Healy and Rob Kearney who made their return to action last weekend.
In a further boost, Ireland back Fergus McFadden and second row Quinn Roux have recovered from their respective injuries to also take their places in the starting XV. Ian Madigan starts at fly-half and will partner fellow Ireland international Isaac Boss at half-back, with Noel Reid partnering O'Driscoll at centre.
Heaslip is named in the back-row alongside Rhys Ruddock and Dominic Ryan. Ireland prop Mike Ross is named on the replacements bench alongside the likes of Jimmy Gopperth and Jordi Murphy.
