Great Britain's 4x100m relay team broke the national record for the second time in 11 days after taking victory at the Zurich Diamond League meeting.

Asha Philip, Ashleigh Nelson, Anyika Onuora and Desiree Henry ran a time of 42.21 seconds, going quicker than the 42.24 the team ran to become European champions.

Elsewhere, James Dasaolu finished third in the 100m at the Zurich Diamond League meeting with Commonwealth Games gold medallist Kemar Bailey-Cole winning in 9.96 seconds.

American Michael Rodgers took second place, with Dasaolu finishing well in a time of 10.06, while Adam Gemili came fifth in 10.13.

"In lane one you have to run your own race and today was about mixing it with the best racers in the world," Dasaolu told BBC Sport.

"Coming off the back of two championships, it's hard, but it's nice to get among these guys and beat someone like Nesta Carter," said Gemili, who won 200m gold at the European Championships.
