Double Olympic champion Mo Farah has confirmed he will make his full London Marathon debut on April 13.

Great Britain's Farah, who won the 5,000 and 10,000 metres at London 2012 and last year's World Championships, ran the first half of the 2013 race but is set to go the full distance this time.

"I am expecting it to be one of my toughest races and a real learning experience," said Farah, 30. "I had another great year on the track in 2013, but the marathon is my main focus for this year. As a young boy growing up in London it has always been my ambition to run the London Marathon."

Farah will face tough competition from a star-studded elite men's field which includes world record-holder Wilson Kipsang, Olympic and world champion Stephen Kiprotich and reigning champion Tsegaye Kebede.
