The Sale Sharks will begin their 2013-14 Amlin Challenge Cup campaign with a tough match against Biarritz at the Salford City Stadium.

The Top 14 side boast the likes of Imanol Harinordquy and Dimitri Yachvili in their squad and Sale could not have been handed a tougher start to life in Pool 1 of the 2013-14 competition. The match kicks-off the tournament and takes place on October 10. Elsewhere in the pool, Worcester Warriors will travel to Top 14 newcomers Oyonnax on the 12th.

Elsewhere, Bath Rugby begin their campaign away at Bordeaux-Begles with the other Pool 2 match seeing Newport Gwent Dragons entertain Mogliano at Rodney Parade. Wasps travel to Viadana in round one while Newcastle Falcons take to the road against Bucharest Wolves.
